She sources her indigo from a cooperative of farmers in Madhya Pradesh — no synthetic mordants, no shortcuts. Each dip deepens the color by a shade. It takes eleven dips to reach the blue that appears on your collar.

Marco learned pattern cutting in Mexico City before relocating to the garment district on San Pedro Street. He pins muslin to a dress form the way a sculptor prods clay — slowly, by feel. Every Loom silhouette passes through his hands twice: once as a sketch, once as a toile. He added the raw hem to the trouser because he said finishing it would be a lie.
